Total Expert’s Takeaways from Amazon Web Services’ re:Invent User Conference

The Total Expert team had their first experience at AWS’ largest annual user conference, re:Invent, this past week spread out on the Las Vegas strip. With over 60K attendees (and many, many more dialed in virtually), the best of the tech world took over the strip from Monday to Friday. Outside of the takeaway that the Sphere and Allegiant stadium are must-sees on your next Vegas visit, we had some great conversations and learnings from the event we wanted to share with you.

AWS continues its public cloud dominance and is investing in the future with improved reliability, scalability, security, and AI technologies for years to come. Total Expert is proud to be built on this market-leading cloud and provide our customers with these best-in-class capabilities.

In addition to major announcements like AWS for Salesforce, the integration of Tech AI, and Amazon Q, one theme permeated the conference: AWS is committed to building a seamless technology ecosystem, and the AWS Marketplace remains a key focus heading into 2024.

The big announcements at re:Invent

The core themes: integrations, partnerships, and connectivity

AWS Marketplace remains a key focus heading into 2024, allowing customers to have lower barriers of entry to a diverse range of solutions. A smoother, faster procurement pathway allows customers to have a faster time to value, making it something that AWS customers no longer view as a “nice to have” option in today’s dynamic market landscape. This was evident throughout re:Invent as AWS continued to demonstrate its connection with technologies and solutions providers that are solving critical problems in the financial services space.

What’s in store for the FinServ industry?

There’s no hiding from the current wave of AI-focused technologies and the potential for them to increase operational efficiency and optimize the way people do their jobs.

As responsible AI becomes the new expectation for business leaders, AWS announced new innovations at re:Invent to help its customers design, build, and deploy AI responsibly. To name a few, Guardrails for Amazon Bedrock helps customers implement safeguards customized to their generative AI applications and aligned with their responsible AI policies.

Financial services organizations should explore opportunities to integrate AI-powered tools into their tech stack and work with teams across their organization to find the areas where ethically deploying AI-powered tools can have the most impact.

In response to these ever-changing market dynamics, AWS is doubling down on its vertical focus, which is perfect for Total Expert and our focus on providing purpose-built tools and technologies for financial services organizations. Earlier this year, Total Expert and AWS forged a powerful partnership with the goal of enhancing customer experiences across financial services. As market conditions continue to evolve, the Total Expert partnership with AWS takes center stage, focusing on verticalization and leveraging the AWS Marketplace. Total Expert shares a mutual commitment with AWS for continued collaboration on creating a seamless customer experience.
