Business Journal Names Total Expert 'Most Promising Startup'
The Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal announced Total Expert, Inc., as Minnesota’s Most Promising Startup of 2016. The six finalists recognized by the Business Journal were selected as emerging Minnesota technology companies that made headlines in 2016 and are positioned for growth in the year ahead.
The Business Journal’s readers voted Total Expert as the winner, finishing ahead of Bright Health, a health insurance startup with $80 million in venture capital funding. Other finalists included Sentera, Recombinetics, StemoniX, and Equals 3.
CEO and founder Joe Welu said, “We’ve been relentless about finding the smartest people we can find. People made the difference this year in driving our rapid growth and expanding our product offering to change the way our customers grow their business.”
The uber-ization of the real estate industry has been inevitable given the complexities that have resulted since the housing crisis of 2008, and Total Expert’s technology platform is positioned to lead the evolution.
By creating the industry’s first collaborative software solution with unique workflows and use cases in the real estate and mortgage industry, Total Expert’s clients can better manage sales, marketing, and compliance efforts as they go to market in today’s challenging landscape.
With its new headquarters and nearly 11,000 square feet, Total Expert has high expectations for 2017 and is honored to be recognized by the Business Journal and local business community.
Joe Vangsgard, Director of Marketing at Total Expert stated, “It has been an incredible year for Total Expert, and we couldn’t be more honored to represent the Minnesota Technology community with this recognition.”
“This list of finalists for this recognition and many more tech businesses in Minnesota, continue to redefine how people think about business and further solidify the Twin Cities as an innovative technology hub in the US. Thank you for your support of Total Expert, and we wish everyone an even more impactful 2017!” said Vangsgard.
